University health science employees from all over Texas are uniting through UHSEU. Our organization currently has well over 500 members in more than 15 different institutions across the state.

Health science institutions are a critical resource to the people of Texas and have faced budget slashing by the state legislature. UHSEU members are building a grassroots organization to advocate for our jobs & institutions.

Some of the issues UHSEU members are organizing around include our fight for fair pay, quality health care, secure pensions, workplace safety, adequate staffing, infectious disease control and overtime regulations.

Employees of every job title have come together in UHSEU - nurses, researchers, grounds workers, social workers, administrative assistants, lab techs, custodial workers, & more. UHSEU is for ALL health sciences employees.

Uniting with the 12,000 state and university employees in the Texas State Employees Union gives us power in numbers. TSEU has a proud 25 year history of fighting for justice for all state and university workers.
